I'm getting Married in 2006, Iberostar would be a great option!

Just wondering if you have heard anything further about the Jamaica resort scheduled opening? We are making plans for June and may be interested in Jamaica if it will be open.

Does anyone know how far the Rose Hall will be from the airport? I've been wanting to go to Jamaica but I've heard it takes forever to get to some of the resorts do to the lack of good roads.

Iberostar Rose Hall will be located within 15-30 minutes driving distance (11 miles) from Sangster/Montego Bay International Airport (MBJ)

Might take approx. 30 minutes from the IB to the airport in my opinion. We stayed in a villa east of the airport last November and passed the IB construction on the way back. The location looked great and it was exciting to see the IB sign from the road. The road to the airport had lots of traffic - seems like it's the only road from the east into town. Our place had been billed as 1/2 hour from the airport, but actually took almost 1.5 hrs each way. Traffic was pretty much bumper-to-bumper, slow moving and rough. They were working on the road, however, so maybe they're adding lanes/fixing up the pavement.
