Is Mexico the right choice???

Hello all of you Iberostar fans!  I am needing help convincing my husband.....and now I'm having second thoughts!!  I changed our Florida (Disney etc) vacation to the Iberostar Quetzal.......much to the dismay of my children and now my husband.  We are booked October 15-22.......I'm just worried they (my husband included) won't enjoy this as much as I will......I am planning on a day to swim with the dolphins at Xcaret......but what else can I plan for the kids??  I just want to see that beautiful water......but help me make them excited about it!!!!!  Feel free to email me at jennifer.long@countryfinancial.com

Hey Mark!  That would be a no to everything but Fishing.........which he loves!

OK then you can go deep sea fishing i haven't done this there but have heard of people doing this. the other choice is just laying around and relaxing as people bring you drinks ( if he is like me with a stress full job this is great )

Also tell him that going to Mexico will be a lot cheaper than doing the Disney thing.  You just can't beat the All-Inclusive!

The all-inclusive system is highly addictive.  Once you have experienced it you will not want to do anything else.  It is so care free and easy that you do not have to sign, or carry cash, or credit card.  Just sit back and enjoy.

I have done the Florida Disney thing, I have been to the Dominican Republic, and am leaving to the Mayan Riviera in 4 weeks on my third trip there!  By far I feel that Mexico is the best value for my money.  I have children (2 & 4) but do not bring them to Mexico.  However, all the all-inclusives I've stayed at have AWESOME kids programs, crafts, scavenger hunts, kids discos...etc.  We will bring them when they are a little older.  We've deep sea fished off the coast of Cozumel, caught barracuda and red snapper.  We brought the fish back to the hotel and the kitchen prepard and served it to us in the buffet restaurant.  How's that for service.  The atmosphere of it all is the real draw.  So laid back, you have a choice of many excursions if you want to do them, but think of this...no lines for the MIB attraction at Universal, or the Teacups at Disney!  GO MEXICO!!!!

My kids are both older now but we did the Disney thing a few times with them. We have done weeks at Disney and Disney cruises too. They still talk about them! I don't know how old your kids are but if they are in the 7-12 year old range then do disney. You can do an all inclusive with them later. When kids are younger than 7 they have fun wherever they go. Kids programs always help out The pre-teen years are Disney time.
