Grand Rose Hall or Grand Paraiso

We stayed at the Grand Rose Hall last July and loved it.  We are going on holiday the first week of September and we are trying to decide between the Grand Rose Hall or the Grand Paraiso.  Any information that may help our decision is appreciated.  From what I have read I have the following impressions:

We are Scuba divers and I believe the diving is better at the Paraiso.
The beach is better at the Paraiso but the pools are better at Rose Hall.

Well, I can't compare the two because I have been at the Grand Paraiso twice.  We started at the Lindo and worked our way up to the Grand.  The entire resort is beautiful.  But, we have booked the Grand Rose Hall and will be going in December.  You will love Grand Paraiso, our experience was fantastic.  We always travel with friends and we ventured away from the IB resorts and tried something different in January.  All though it was a nice change it was not up to our past experiences.  If you have any suggestions for us at the Grand Rose Hall please let me know.
