pier at iberostar cozumel

 i hear the iberostar in cozumel has been giving offsite dive operators a bad time for using the pier.we are certified diversand will be staying at the iberostar in cozumel the first part of april, and we will be using dive with martin if they can not use the pier to pick us up we will have to change our plans and stay at the allegro instead. i thought the the beach is public land owned by the government

We just got back and there seemed to be lots of operators other than the Iberostar Cozumel using the pier no problem.

We just got back from Iberostar Cozumel and there was almost always a boat at the pier picking people up.  If you see any Star Friends, see if you can find out the name of the one that wears sunglasses during the day and regular glasses at the nightly shows.  Thanks in advance.
