Iberostar Bavaro nightlife??

I am heading to Iberostar Bavaro with a lot of my friends from home and their families this spring break. I was wondering if people who have been there could give me a review of the nightlife, tell where the best places to go are, etc. Any recommendations or comments are very appreciated. Thanks!

Casino+shows+some entertainment(disco).

if you're looking for "Cancun" style nightlife and a lot of other social type activities, this might not be the best place for you.

hi..there is a disco within the hotel complex which is not bad. you could also take a taxi and go to one of the clubs which belong to other hotel like pacha (which is within the riu complex next to iberostar) and the mangu. have fun

I am with George on this.. if you are looking for a "cancun" type atmosphere you won't find it in Punta Cana.. that said I enjoyed the shows they put on at the resort in the evening but my husband and I are in our 50s and aren't looking for a real lively social event.

We went to DC-9 the disco bar which opens every night at 11:15 or 11:30. We had a great time. There were dance contests another events that the guest are encouraged to enter and particpate in. Its mostly like any college town bar.

I agree with the other, not much on the nightlife in Punta Cana...You can try the disco and casino, or bars in the hotel.  But you won't find a hoppin' bar scene like Cancun.
